We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Wealth Management Operations who will take ownership of IRA-related processes, ensuring exceptional client service, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.

This is an Associate level position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Execute complex processes and assist a Team Manager in coordinating processes, risks and/or projects in a Team Lead capacity

• Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and leverage detailed knowledge to propose changes in process

• Train others, allocate tasks and support with first line escalation where required

• Share expert knowledge across the team, contribute to team output and development, building relationships across the Firm

• Requires a combination of technical expertise in IRA regulations and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive innovation and process improvement.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team

• Ability to operate independently with respect to some job responsibilities

• Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values

• Comprehensive knowledge of IRA laws, regulations, and processes.

• At least 4 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60k and $90k per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs
