We're seeking someone to join our team as an Executive Director in Operations Transformation to be responsible for driving the central automation strategy for Operations.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Executive Director level position within the Operations Transformation team is a global group responsible for driving the central automation strategy for Operations. This is an exciting space to be, working with key stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Business & firmwide stakeholders to deliver strategic transformation initiatives for all business areas (ISG, Wealth & Investment Management) and their respective Operations groups.

What you'll do in the role:
- Oversee complex process management and change efforts, developing and implementing business plan and strategic vision for a group of specialists or varied specialist functions within allocated budget
- Address highly complex or time sensitive business matters, leveraging relationships across functional groups to define and deliver solutions
- Manage multiple projects/products simultaneously with accountability for risks associated with delivery and execution of the project/program, engaging with internal and / or external stakeholders in the decision-making process and managing relationships with partners across the organization
- Regional owner/point person for all Dynamics related items
- Experience with delivering technology products to delight end-users.
- Strong analytical skills and business orientation
- Think strategically and able to execute and delivery in an agile environment.
- Leverage skills to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success.
- Own the product performance and accountable for the health of the product.
- Lead the product life cycle through planning, execution, and delivery.
- Own the product backlogs, prioritization, sequencing and apply the agile framework.
- Ability to define business outcomes, KPI against the business value delivered and communicate progress and escalate issues.
- Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of 20 across Business Analysts/Product Owner, Scrum Masters, application developers
- Build and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders and partners.

- Broad understanding across multiple processes, systems and markets in addition to detailed subject matter expertise of various key products/processes

- Expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Self-starter with high tolerance for ambiguity

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 188,000 and 255,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
