Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention Content Producer

Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention Team is charged with protecting our clients’ assets and personal information. Amid a rapidly changing threat landscape, our global team of technical experts institutes a robust suite of detective and preventive controls, anticipates issues before they arise, and responds appropriately as required. As part of this mission, we produce extensive thought leadership content to sensitize and educate our clients and employees to emerging threats and impart recommendations and best practices.
Our team seeks an Assistant Vice President to support these content creation efforts. This individual will work hand in hand with our team’s subject matter experts to produce and maintain a catalogue of internally and externally available collateral. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Devising and implementing client-facing and internal web, email, and social media campaigns to drive awareness of common social engineering scams
• Maintaining all content (articles, videos, and landing pages) on the client-facing Morgan Stanley Online and E*TRADE Security Centers, ensuring that language and imagery is up-to-date, timely, and responsive to client inquiries and concerns
• Producing and disseminating compelling content to drive client adoption of enhanced security features offered or supported by Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management platforms (e.g., authenticator apps, security keys, trusted contacts)
• Supporting team experts with conducting research and drafting talking points to address the cybersecurity or fraud implications of newsworthy events of concern, including via webinars and large-scale client and prospect events
• Liaising with Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Legal and Compliance colleagues to ensure all content meets Morgan Stanley standards and is suitable for internal and external publication
• Consistently refreshing an internal team library of approved answers to Frequently Asked Questions
• Producing monthly engagement metrics and recommendations to ensure materials are reaching intending audiences and driving desired behavior
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in content creation, copyediting, or digital marketing
• Impeccable writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and tone
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, engaging language
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong research skills and commitment to verifying the accuracy of information with subject matter experts
• Demonstrated experience producing content across different formats (articles, social media posts, email copy, videos, infographics, etc.)
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, fraud trends, and the financial services industry preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate as a team-oriented self-starter with an openness to collaboration and feedback
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
