Morgan Stanley Wealth Management provides a range of wealth management products and services for affluent individuals, businesses and institutions. These services include brokerage and investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement and trust.

The Morgan Stanley at Work COO team supports various business areas, including Global Public Equity, Global Private Markets, Executive Financial Services, and Retirement and Financial Wellness. We are seeing an experienced project manager to lead complex projects that advance strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supporting the Morgan Stanley at Work COO organization across multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Create and update polished executive level reports and presentations
  • Assist with identifying recurring payments and the registration to Morgan Stanley third party system for monthly processing
  • Assist users with training for Morgan Stanley systems for procurement [Ariba], planned events [EnC] and expense submissions [Concur]
  • This role will assist in ensuring the Billing Operations and Morgan Stanley AP teams in the migration of AP from Solium legacy systems to Morgan Stanley systems to use proper systems for procurement and expense processing
  • Work with the MS at Work organization and other internal stakeholders across Wealth Management to execute cross-divisional strategy
  • Manage MS at Work organizational expenses and investment budget
  • Provide vendor and consultant management support
  • Real estate & space management planning
  • Drive various business management initiatives across Morgan Stanley at Work
  • Build and document flows, processes and business controls to streamline the organization and mitigate risks
  • Point of contact for vendor and payment requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 2 years’ experience including financial services related internships
  • Experience in business strategy and management is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership
  • Must be a self-starter and a quick learner, able to prioritize and delegate effectively to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with business partners and senior management
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Outlook
  • Ability to work in a team environment and partner with multiple individuals across various groups
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, aptitude for working with numerical information
  • Experience and strong aptitude in using different processing and accounting systems.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness with both oral and written communication.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities
