We're seeking someone to join our Product Control team as a [VP] in [ISGF]
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an VP level position within the Product Controller Job Family which specializes in ensuring adequacy of controls, profit and loss and balance sheet reporting and reconciliations for a segment / business / product area, as well as management reporting across business segments or cross functional end-to-end product oversight.

What you'll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Lead end-to-end processes and/or programs that require complex decision making, advanced understanding of client and stakeholder needs and subject matter expertise
- Understand and adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; own risk and contingency plans for business area
- Act as a role model and culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and team accountable to Firm standards
- [Focus primarily on Business Advisory and Regulatory, with some Projects involvement
- Work closely with Business Unit, Risk Management, Technology, Operations, and other Controllers on a day-to-day basis to provide feedback and solutions on proposed structures and transactions
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting for the Business Unit and Finance Management
- Work with various Legal Entity Controllers on legal entity reporting, analysis and audits
- Provide subject matter expertise in key initiatives, including new product reviews and Transfer Pricing
- Analyze the impact of new rules and regulations on business financials and processes
- Work with Global IBD Controllers and ISG Loan Reporting to provide weekly, monthly & quarterly commentary on financial results
- Review and sign off monthly Revenue and Balance Sheet and quarterly regulatory reporting
- Work with IT on system enhancement projects
What you'll bring to the role:
- Advanced understanding of Finance functional area, industry, and competitive environment and technical skills, including risks and key regulations relevant to the division
- Strong technical skills
- Ability to inspire and support others by providing positive and constructive feedback and to acknowledge efforts of and promote team members
- Ability to manage risk and impact to functional area, and create plans to mitigate those risks
- [10+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
- Prior loan experience highly desirable/preferable
- Strong analytical and technical skills including Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of Capital Markets
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
- Outstanding attention to detail and follow up
- Excellent organizational skills
- Aptitude to multitask, and work in a fast changing, dynamic environment]

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is
only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
