The Neuberger Berman Summer Internship is an eight-week program that exposes interns to an interactive on-the-job training environment in hopes to develop critical skills to jump-start their professional career. Positions vary across the firm in areas such as Investments, Client Coverage, Private Wealth Management, and core functions within Operating Platform. Each intern is integrated into an assigned department and handle multitude of tasks designed to strengthen their technical and soft skills, while familiarizing themselves with our asset management industry and investment products. Over the course of the program, interns will participate in speaker series, learning and development sessions, networking and social events.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with members of the assigned team to accomplish day-to-day responsibilities.

• Attend various firm panels throughout the internship on Neuberger Berman’s lines of businesses and operations, including portfolio management, corporate divisions, research, alternatives and distribution.

• Participate in various interactive Learning and Engagement offerings to build critical business and leadership skills as well as participate in networking opportunities.

• Actively work on a group project with other interns throughout the summer and present the project in front of an audience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree candidate; rising juniors and seniors (preferred), open to all majors

• Minimum requirement of 3.3 GPA (special circumstances will be considered for those less than 3.3 GPA)

• Interest in the asset management/financial services industry

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Program Details:

• Eight week internship – start date of June 3rd through July 26th

• Location is NYC headquarters

• Full time hours: 40 hours/week

• In-office 5 days/week

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $25-$25. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, production, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
