Senior Analyst, Reconciliation Service Fixed Income

The Trade Management Team within Neuberger Berman Middle Office provides support to the Non-Investment Grade and Investment Grade Investment Teams which manage over 90 billion AUM. It is the team's responsibility to manage all operational aspects of the trade lifecycle including confirmation, settlement and discrepancy resolution of global and domestic fixed income products as well as new account onboarding. The Senior Analyst supports a rapidly growing business working closely with the trading desks and must ensure accuracy of all transaction processing and is ideal for someone that is highly detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Daily processing of cash flow activity for all fixed income portfolios globally
Daily processing of model cash for Portfolio Managers
Work with Portfolio Managers/Traders daily to rebalance cash between investment strategies
Send daily cash flow notifications to Portfolio Managers/Traders
Daily communication with custodian banks to confirm subscription and redemptions have been actioned and all discrepancies are resolved
Ad-hoc communication with NB Client Services to ensure each client is aware of the status of their subscription or redemption
Daily cash exception reconciliation between Aladdin and the custodian
Facilitate new business on-boarding with internal and external parties and ensure the new portfolio is set up timely and properly in the Neuberger infrastructure
Provide Beginning of Day Portfolio Readiness (cash, transaction, holding) to Portfolio Managers by reviewing Recons exceptions for both positions and cash
Assist management for system automation via STP (Straight Through Processing), efficiency enrichment and risk mitigation projects.
Able to act as a central point of contact for internal clients (Portfolio Managers/Traders)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related field preferred
1 to 2 years of industry experience required
Strong knowledge and understanding fixed income products preferred
Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills, detailed oriented
Ability to implement tasks and projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Team player who fosters team spirit in a global setting
Strong knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin preferred
Proven ability to work with external service providers
Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced knowledge of Excel a strong plus
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role in Illinois is $70,000-$90,000 and the salary range for the role in New York is $70,000-$90,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
