Summary:
Neuberger Berman Trust Company N.A. seeks a highly qualified and motivated individual to handle all aspects of fiduciary account administration. The individual should have strong technical knowledge of gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax, ability to prioritize and complete tasks without error and the desire to contribute to a team environment in the management of client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Direct administrative and management oversight responsibility for fiduciary relationships for trusts, estates and investment management clients.
- Day-to-day interaction with clients (internal and external) on all account matters, including legal, tax, investment, and general administration of their accounts.
- Active participant in investment and administrative review committees as well as discretionary payment committees.
- Provide training and guidance to administrative staff.
- Participate in Trust Company marketing efforts to both internal and external sources.
- Work with internal infrastructure groups in connection with trust company systems.
- Identify questions and concerns regarding any documents governing client accounts and address them with senior trust company officers if necessary.
- Implement asset allocation decisions.
- Work with our Investment Team, Financial Planning and Tax Specialists, Estate Planning, and Portfolio Management Teams to create comprehensive financial strategies and solutions to help clients achieve their desired objectives over their lifetime.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required.
- 5 plus years of hands-on trust and estate administration experience preferably at a bank or trust company.
- Strong technical skills in fiduciary administration and good working knowledge of estate, gift, and GST tax and fiduciary income tax.
- Investment oversight experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Client presentation and marketing skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $110,000-$160,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
