Position Overview
The Head of Private Wealth Platforms & Experience will be a transformative leader within Neuberger Berman’s Private Wealth business, responsible for shaping and executing the digital and client-centric strategy that will define the future of both client and advisor experiences. This leader will oversee all aspects of the end-to-end journey for clients and advisors, serving as the business owner for all client-facing digital platforms and internal wealth management tools. This role is pivotal to the ongoing Private Wealth transformation, ensuring best-in-class experiences, digital enablement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Wealth Platforms & Experience organization within Private Wealth, developing and executing a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap to position NB’s Private Wealth business as an innovator in client and advisor experience.
  • Own and optimize the entire client and advisor journey, with full accountability for client-facing workflows, digital tools, and all aspects of digital and traditional communications.
  • Serve as the business owner for all digital and client-facing tools, including the design, enhancement, and implementation of the client portal, mobile app, and emerging self-service solutions.
  • Determine the optimal suite of platform capabilities to support SMA/UMA structures, financial planning, proposals, analytics, and other core wealth management needs.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the NB Private Wealth Advisor Workstation and associated tools, ensuring advisors have access to critical data, workflows, and client insights.
  • Overhaul and fully digitize the client account opening and onboarding experience to deliver a seamless, efficient, and highly engaging process.
  • Serve as the business owner for internal Private Wealth applications (CRM, OMS, document management, asset movement, etc.), overseeing their ongoing evolution, integration, and adoption across the organization.
  • Evaluate current operating practices and implement best-in-class business processes across all aspects of the client lifecycle to drive efficiency, scalability, and risk reduction.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to ensure the prioritization and continuous improvement of platform features and business processes, accounting for both advisor and client preferences.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 15+ years’ experience in private wealth management, wealth technology platforms, or digital transformation leadership roles.
  • Proven track record overseeing digital platforms and client experience within the financial services sector.
  • Deep understanding of Private Wealth business models, digital client engagement, and advisor workflows.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to synthesize feedback, client insights, and analytics into actionable platform and process improvements.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ownership mentality.

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
