Position Overview:
Job Description: Business Analytics, Client Coverage, London
We are looking to expand our Business Analytics Team, supporting Client Coverage teams and providing business management support to EMEALA Client Coverage Leadership.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable building relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions; have experience in data and analytics, and be comfortable delivering presentations and insights to Management both proactively and in accordance with periodic deliverables. This position provides an opportunity for a proactive and analytical individual to work closely with key stakeholders to define and track success within the Client Coverage organization.
- The EMEALA Business Analytics Team produces recurring and ad hoc reporting for the EMEALA client coverage platform (pipeline, activity, book of business, territory coverage), delivering accurate, on-time reports/dashboards and insights for senior leadership and the Client Coverage organization.
- Partnering with key internal stakeholders such as Client Advisors/Associates, Finance, CRM and Sales Data Management, the team ensures that client, activity, and sales attribution reporting is accurately and consistently produced.
- Alongside core tasks noted above, the team has a varied brief, aimed at ensuring the Client Coverage organization is armed with the internal and external data required to execute its business strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate, on-time high-quality reporting and dynamic dashboards for the EMEALA client coverage team
- Deliver recurring sales/coverage reporting and ad hoc analysis focused on the client coverage platform (pipeline, activity, territory coverage, etc)
- Partner with Client Advisors and Client Associates to stay abreast of developments in the client coverage organization (new business opportunities, fundings, business at risk)
- Prepare materials for internal meetings (business reviews, town halls, leadership updates), and provide client platform statistics for broader firm reporting.
- Provide client platform statistics for firmwide reports and presentations
- Work with Finance to ensure sales attribution is captured correctly in official reporting
- Improve how the work gets done: simplify workflows, reduce manual steps, and automate recurring tasks
Key Requirements / Qualifications: (essential unless otherwise stated)
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related field of study
- Asset Management industry experience, 2-4 years’ demonstrable experience
- Strong analytical and technical skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is required; experience with Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, Salesforce or comparable tools (Note: the recruitment process will involve a short practical assessment)
- Team player with strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking
- Attention to detail and business acumen essential
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
