Head of Digital Marketing

The Head of Digital Marketing will lead Neuberger’s digital marketing strategy and web presence owning the corporate website ecosystem, email marketing program, UX/UI standards, SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and growth marketing tactics that drive measurable engagement across all digital properties. Reporting to the Global Head of Brand Experience, this role drives continuous year-over-year website optimization, integration of products and lines of business into the digital experience and ensures all external client-facing digital touchpoints are cohesive and aligned.
This leader manages a team of digital contributors across UI/UX design, digital operations, email build, and website campaigns —partnering closely with Head of Client Coverage Technology.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy
Define and own the firm's digital marketing strategy — establish the vision, roadmap, and annual priorities across the website, email, and all external client-facing digital touchpoints, with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes across institutional, intermediary, and private wealth audiences.
Website Implementation & Oversight - Serve as the marketing owner of the corporate website in close partnership with Client Coverage Technology — leading content architecture, feature prioritization, release planning, sprint collaboration, QA, and governance including taxonomy, metadata, ADA/WCAG compliance, and QA protocols. Drive integration of products, LOBs, and investment strategies into the website experience.
SEO & GEO: Develop and execute a search strategy spanning SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) leading technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, schema markup, structured data, and Core Web Vitals, while pioneering the firm's GEO practice to maximize discoverability across AI-powered platforms including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
Email Marketing: Oversee email marketing system — including strategy, template build, deliverability, performance analysis, A/B testing, personalization, and governance standards covering brand compliance, accessibility, and CAN-SPAM/GDPR adherence.
UX/UI: Oversee and uphold UX/UI standards across all digital properties — leading the UI/UX team in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, while maintaining a scalable digital design system in coordination with the creative studio.
Growth Marketing & Optimization: Develop and execute growth marketing tactics — including landing page optimization, CRO, A/B and multivariate testing, and personalization — managing a continuous experimentation program benchmarked year-over-year against defined performance targets.
Analytics & Reporting: Own website analytics and reporting infrastructure via Adobe Analytics, Sitecore and Tableau — tracking website KPIs including traffic, engagement, conversion, SEO/GEO metrics, and content effectiveness, and translating data into roadmap prioritization, UX improvements, and resource decisions.
External Digital Touchpoint Cohesion: Ensure all external client-facing digital touchpoints beyond the website — microsites, landing pages, digital publications, client portal interfaces, and interactive tools — are cohesive in brand expression, UX standards, and technical quality through periodic ecosystem audits.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive digital marketing and website management experience with minimum 5+ years in financial services, digital marketing — asset management, wealth management, or capital markets preferred.
4+ years managing digital marketing teams.

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $175,000-$225,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
