We are seeking a technically skilled, self-directed Product Manager with extensive financial services experience to support Neuberger Berman’s front office business, team, and investment systems (e.g., Aladdin, Eze, Charles River) and management processes. You will be responsible for designing, documenting, and supporting comprehensive business solutions. This role involves hands-on collaboration with front office users to refine product designs and solution architectures, while ensuring high-quality deliverables through partnerships with key vendors.
Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert and principal liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex risk requirements into actionable product features.
Engage directly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and refine product designs.
Work closely with our engineering team, requiring an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern DevOps practices.
Manage relationships with key vendors by prioritizing deliverables, resolving escalations, ensuring SLAs are met, and ensuring seamless integration and operational continuity.
Lead solution design and create detailed documentation.
Oversee product development timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project objectives and business objectives
Support live platform teams by addressing inquiries and prioritizing issues and enhancements
Monitor and measure the success of implemented solutions, using data-driven insights to iterate and improve the platform.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in business analysis, solution design, and product management.
Prior experience working in financial services/ banking industry; knowledge and understanding of Asset Management is needed.
Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Python, Tableau and exposure to GenAI in Asset Management.
Strong understanding of full trade life-cycle from front, middle, and back-office systems.
Experience with Order Management Systems (e.g. Aladdin, Eze, Charles River)
Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Familiarity with investment concepts, business processes for investment guidelines oversight
Strong financial data analysis skills experience is a must.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
Able to translate non-technical requirements into technical requirements

Location: This is a hybrid role that currently requires a minimum of two days per week in our NYC office. In office requirement is subject to change at the discretion of the firm.

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $115,000-$145,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
