What is the opportunity?
The Client Management Senior Associate will provide expertise by acting as a point of contact to clients, with a specific focus on business owners and entrepreneurs. You will assist in the planning and implementation of the full RBC Private Wealth service offering for clients and assist the day-to-day functional/administrative support of the clients’ portfolios, overseeing the coordination of investment dealing, banking and administration requirements.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, who is professional and comfortable dealing with clients, senior management, and administrative staff. You must have knowledge of business sectors, market trends, financial products and services to effectively communicate with and gain the confidence of clientele.
What will you do?
Provide clients with a trusted and professional point of contact for matters relating to their financial affairs
Identify and contribute towards proactive client contact strategies based on individual client preferences
Provide ongoing review and update of client strategy and action plan, as appropriate
Act as the first line of defence relating to various activities and ensuring any associated requests are dealt with in a compliant manner.
Acting as a point of escalation to resolve issues where required and escalating and reporting all risk events
Adhering to all internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements on a day-to-day basis to ensure business requirements are always being met as part of the Culture of Excellence.
Developing relationships and liaising regularly with business partners / product specialists;
Support the Client Management Associate Directors by providing timely feedback about team matters / training needs to enhance and support client service; supporting Business Management by identifying inefficiencies to internal processes and making appropriate recommendations to rectify them
Ensure compliance with all jurisdictional regulations, specifically those related to client confidentiality, Know Your Client, suitability, account opening documentation and verification of client instructions.
Identify opportunities to engage, refer to and collaborate with colleagues across the specialist groups to provide sophisticated, bespoke client solutions.
Oversee the successful training and development of new Associates and help co-ordinate the smooth day to day operation of the Client Team.

Must have
Proven experience in a similar role within private banking
Polished client service skills.
Ability to create lasting relationships with clients.
Desire to complete professional qualification.
Experience working within a matrix organization.
Nice to have
Previous business development experience
