Job Summary
RBC's Corporate Access team provides a full suite of consultative and logistics services to bring institutional investors and corporate clients together. Responsible for delivering a seamless client experience. Coordination and execution of Analyst and Corporate marketing events, collaborating internally, increasing the quality of RBC’s marketing pipeline, ensuring consistent application of global standards and managing feedback data to drive a valued client-focused brand experience.
Job Description
What will you do?
- Manage the coordination and execution of logistics for US and International Marketing with a focus on International corporate marketing into the US. This includes, but not limited to: client targeting, non-deal roadshows, bespoke trips (reverse roadshows), group field trips, site visits, expert events, investor/corporate prep packages, feedback, and sourcing venues.
- Conference management - strategic planning and & event execution for global industry conferences and investor days, which includes but is not limited to: collaboration with internal stakeholders, agenda creation, client targeting and meeting allocations, on site and/or virtual execution, and post-event wrap up including de-briefs and feedback analysis.
- Partner with Sales, Research and ECM to set event objectives and identify investor targets. Create clear lines of communication pre, during and post event to ensure each event has a successful outcome.
- Utilize internal systems to maintain accurate meeting schedules, enter/update data, and work with Client Submissions team to improve internal and external reporting.
- Ad hoc strategic projects, statistics analysis and presentation work.
- Partner with regional Corporate Access teams and trading globally to share knowledge, insights and identify opportunities to collaborate. Identify and actively connect events that have potential for shared purposes to maximize marketing pipelines.
- Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business
- Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.
- Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis.
What do you need to succeed?
- Undergraduate degree in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of Corporate Access experience
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Exceptional analytical skills and strong understanding of PowerPoint, Excel and data management tools
- Acute attention to detail, with ability to prioritize and multi-task, managing a large number of projects concurrently
- Ability to use initiative, forward plan and remain calm under pressure
- Enthusiastic and motivated team player, keen to learn and develop
- Strong knowledge of how to maneuver working with various constituents internally and externally (sales/trading/research/banking/corporate managements)

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $105,000- $130,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
