What is the opportunity?

We have an exciting opportunity for two Associates to join the wealth management team in Edinburgh. As an Associate, you will assist the wealth planning team in the production of Client Annual Reviews (CARs) and Suitability Reports, as well as provide support to senior colleagues.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to build solid foundational knowledge of wealth management and kick start their career in the industry. As an Associate you will have the opportunity to study for industry recognised qualifications, as well as gain on the job experience. These experiences and learning pathways will give you a well-rounded skill set, that will enable you to build your career and develop in future as a Paraplanner and Advisor.

What will you do?

  • Produce client annual reviews and suitability reports.

  • Liaise with relevant providers to gather information to complete such reviews and reports

  • Communicate with Wealth Managers and clients.

  • Ensure client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems.

  • Support new business activities.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • We don't require prior experience, but we are searching for dedicated individuals who are serious about creating a career in wealth management with us.

  • Good time management skills, because this is a demanding role where you will often be managing many priorities and tasks

  • Proactive, enjoy learning new things and seek out ways to expand your knowledge.

  • Good attention to detail, maintaining accuracy when completing written and numerical based tasks.

  • Clear and concise communication skills – with ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook.

Nice-to-have

  • Previous administration experience may be beneficial for the tasks you will be performing in this role. However, we are most interested in finding candidates with the right attitude and desire to progress within wealth management.
