What is the opportunity?
We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Portfolio Manager to join our London office on a permanent basis.
The team takes responsibility for producing robust portfolio proposals and analytical information in support of colleagues in advisory roles under the supervision of more senior Portfolio Managers and Investment Managers. The right candidate will be professional and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and develop.
What will you do?
Assist Portfolio Managers and Wealth Managers in ensuring portfolios are constructed in compliance with TCF principles.
Work closely with the Research team to understand their investment guidelines.
Support Wealth Managers and Portfolio Managers to track funds against client’s objectives and risk profile.
Execute trades on instruction from Management.
Support client delivery under the guidance of Management.
Assist in preparation of review and new client meetings.
Support senior team members as required to contribute to the completion of tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard.
Provide guidance to more junior team member.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Math’s GCSE or equivalent.
Broad understanding of portfolio management.
Maintains up to date knowledge of the market and regulation changes through Continuous Professional development.
Nice-to-have
Working towards or attained CISI Level 7 Wealth Management Masters or equivalent.
