What is the opportunity?
As a bilingual New Business Service Representative with RBC Insurance, Individual Life and Living Benefits, you will provide excellent customer service to various stakeholders including day to day administrative activities as outlined in New Business Services administrative procedures, respond to case specific inquiries and general new business administrative inquiries. The New Business Service Representative will manage several mailboxes and coordinate and/or perform related follow up actions.
What will you do?
•Act as the primary contact for Fundamental Injury Only (IND Service Center), Mass Market (NB MM), NB OAT, and Future Income Option (FIO) mailbox
•The NB Service Rep is responsible for setting and managing client expectations, ensuring issues, questions and status inquiries are responded to promptly and accurately within defined SLA
•Provide recommendations to MGA Administrator, Account contact or Field Sales contact to assist in receiving requirements in a timely manner if applicable.
•Provide feedback and recommendations to NB Operations Manager(s) or Senior Management team identifying trends/gaps and training opportunities as it relates to the processing of the new business applications.
•Route inquires to the right place (e.g. advisor, sales support, Customer Service, Case Coordinator, NB Settlements, Vendor, OAT, LCCS, etc.)
•Process FIO approvals and complete accordingly on Ingenium, send appropriate communications via UWPro
What will you need to succeed?
•Experience in New Business administration or relative Insurance experience
•Fluently bilingual in both French and English, written and spoken, with excellent communication skills
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and able to work with multiple systems
•Ability to work well with diverse team and independently
•High degree of professionalism coupled with the ability to handle pressure is a necessity.
