What is the opportunity?

Senior Data Analyst – Front Office Analytics to work within RBC BlueBay Data Management office - Analytics Data team:

The Front office analytics team ensure the quality of the analytics data in the front office tool PI as used by Investment, Attribution and Client Reporting teams. The work is split between supporting users with questions on the data, implementing new systems that increase the quality and consistency and writing and performing data quality checks.

What will you do?

• Defining and implementing best practices for the analytics mastering system, IVP
• Finding and fixing through root cause analysis the source of inaccurate analytics data in our systems
• Work with third parties and our development teams to implement new sources of data, with deep analysis of onboarded data
• Answering queries from sophisticated users about the accuracy and lineage of the data used in the investment process.
• Design and implement checks to find inaccurate data using python and SQL
• Run daily and monthly data checks to ensure excellent data quality
• Provide cross training to Analytics Data team members

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Excellent understanding of fixed income analytics and the methodologies used to calculate
• Considerable experience in data analysis of Buy side front office analytics
• Excellent Excel skills
• Proven ability to present to present updates on projects to senior stakeholders
• Senior Experience of implementing new systems, working with third parties and internal stakeholders

Nice-to-have

• Degree in STEM or Finance topic
• Completed or studying CFA
• Intermediate Python skills
• Basic SQL
• Bloomberg terminal use
