What is the opportunity?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Change Engagement Manager to join the team in our London office. The successful candidate will work with Business Change & Transformation (BC&T) colleagues and Wealth Management Europe (WME) Senior Leaders to ensure that the business feels that they are engaged and taken on the change journey.
This involves, but is not limited to, defining, maintaining and communicating the WME wide change delivery Roadmap and dependencies. You will also collate a high-level impact assessment across the change portfolio and develop and maintain the Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Strategy and associated communication.
RBC’s expectation is that from mid-September 2025, all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
Create, gain sign off, baseline and maintain the WME wide change delivery Roadmap across the BC&T change portfolio.
Create, gain sign off, baseline and maintain the high-level Roadmap dependencies.
Ensure the appropriate change control is in place and managed effectively.
Define and agree the Stakeholder Engagement & Communications approach and toolkit and embed in BC&T.
Create & get Sign off on the WME wide Stakeholder Engagement and Communications strategy ensuring that the appropriate communication channel is utilised to achieve the desired outcome and gain sign off.
Facilitation of the delivery of tactical communications.
Defining the Change Champion Strategy and Approach. Sourcing and maintaining the Change Champions.
Support the delivery of Town halls, Roadshows and other large scale stakeholder events
Chair the Business Engagement and Communications Advisory Forum and participate in other appropriate forums that will aid the embedding of the change agenda.
Ensure appropriate skills, capabilities and expertise are available and deployed when required to support the Towers.
Establish and maintain the appropriate level and frequency of reporting.
Establish key metrics, KPIs that underpin the Change Engagement Teams performance and the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
Manage risks, issues, actions and decisions.
Conduct and participate in retrospective/lessons learnt and continuously improve.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Business/Finance/Communications/Project Management degree
Significant previous experience working in a transformation/change, communications or business readiness function, within Financial Services.
People Management Experience
Experience with various project delivery methodologies, such as Waterfall, Iterative, and/or Agile.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of Management businesses and functions.
Proven track record of project delivery.
Ability to apply creative solutioning, critical thinking and process enablement.
Superior relationship building and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
Delivery focused and ability to pivot.
Nice-to-have
Existing knowledge of RBC conduct, culture and values.
