About Dr. Bill

Dr. Bill is a RBCx Portfolio company that is working to take the pain out of medical billing and get doctors paid accurately. We are a high growth company that currently serves 11,000+ doctors across 3 provinces to provide market-leading software for physicians income payments. You’ll join as an employee of RBC and get all the perks of working for a big company, but with a start-up mind-set and the agility to move quickly.
Dr.Bill is an RBCx Portfolio company - RBC Medical Billing Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of RBC). Dr.Bill provides market leading software that facilitates physicians income payments across BC, ON and AB.


What is the opportunity?
As Senior Manager, Business Operations at Dr.Bill, you will be a key enabler of our growth as we execute on our expansion plans and continue to scale our business. Reporting into Dr.Bill’s Chief Operating Officer, this is a high impact role where you will be a key driver of our growth strategy, ensuring the continued scaling of our people, culture, and processes as we expand across the country.

You will be responsible for driving the successful integration of people, culture, and processes as we look to grow and scale our company through M&A and national expansion. You will oversee the long term integration strategy and planning and be responsible for managing stakeholders to ensure we are tracking towards key milestones and targets. You will build relationships, bridging the gaps between the existing Dr.BIll team and newly integrated teams.

This role requires 5-7 years of project / program management experience. A PMP designation is a major asset but not required. As this is a nationally focused role, bilingual English and French is required.


This is a full-time remote position with access to office space in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal.

What will you do?

  • Lead integration planning and execution to bring together people, culture, and processes by developing comprehensive integration roadmaps with clear timelines, milestones, and success metrics

  • Learn company processes, systems, and organizational structures to develop recommendations on operating model and identify integration risks, synergy opportunities, and critical success factors

  • Manage cross-functional integration teams including representatives from Dr.Bill, RBC and RBCx to coordinate workstreams and ensure alignment on integration objectives and deliverables

  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to design and implement standardized business processes, identifying best practices and establishing unified operating procedures to optimize efficiency

  • Monitor and report on integration progress through regular stakeholder communications, dashboard reporting, and executive briefings while proactively addressing roadblocks and escalating critical issues.

  • Manage change management initiatives to support cultural integration, employee communication, and organizational alignment while maintaining business continuity

  • Establish governance frameworks and decision-making processes for integration activities, ensuring proper risk management, compliance requirements, and stakeholder approval protocols are maintained

  • Evaluate integration success, document best practices, and continuously improve our integration capabilities.

What do you need to succeed?
Must Have

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in project and/or program management, executing on strategic initiatives within a complex stakeholder environment

  • Proven experience delivering on complex initiatives and achieving desired outcomes

  • Experience in strategy, operations and and strategic business planning

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate across business lines and

  • Relationship management, strong interpersonal skills, decision making, and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior and executive management

  • Ability to travel within Canada regularly

  • Bilingual (English and French)

Nice to Have

  • A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation

  • Experience in Canadian Healthcare or a Canadian Health Tech company
