What is the opportunity?
As an Operations Associate III in the Investment Advisor Operations Performance Reporting & Reconciliation team with RBC Wealth Management, you will maintain daily account reconciliation on outstanding cash and security positions and produce performance reports, calculate and report investment returns for all Managed Products. You will also maintain an active role to ensure cash flows are correct. In addition, you will create ad hoc customized performance reports and create and maintain quarterly reports for High Net Worth and Managed Account client base. Your partner closely with Professional Money Managers, our Private Client Group line of business, and Correspondent Firms.

What will you do?
- Maintaining and reporting of investment data for several managed accounts and products within Managed Accounts via an external vendor portfolio accounting system
- Review all security processing including complex corporate actions
- Responsible for completing all reconciliations to internal and external management systems, nightly pricing and account performance data
- Provide performance reporting to High Net Worth and Managed Account client base
- Track and utilize market-related indices to properly benchmark client performance
- Help implement industry initiatives as well as internal efficiencies and improvements
- Monitor performance reporting data and support questions from Financial Advisors
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 4-year degree from an accredited university (or equivalent) OR high school diploma (or equivalent) AND two years of work-related experience
- Knowledge on securities markets with Microsoft office based software products. Effective exceptions based processing skills and problem identification skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and superb attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
Nice-to-have
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field
- 1+ year business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/securities experience

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $40,000 - $65,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
