Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Director, Deposit Solutions Western Canada is a leader within Transaction Banking. The Director leads a team of Business Deposit Specialists in British Columbia and Alberta who are accountable for working with Commercial Banking Client Relationship teams to grow the RBC deposit relationship and uncover opportunities to deepen the overall relationship with RBC.

What will you do?

  • Lead a best-in-class Business Deposits Solutions team across British Columbia and Alberta.
  • Develop and inspire the team of business deposit specialists to identify new opportunities, build relationships and achieve growth goals.
  • Maximize RBC’s position in the market and bring the best of RBC to businesses, their owners and their employees.
  • Accountable for Business Deposits Solutions results, client experience, business performance, risk management and employee engagement across the business.
  • Collaborate with Client Relationship Team’s (CRT’s) partners to build and execute on a strategy to capture market share and accelerate growth.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have: (Max. 6 bullets)

Post-Secondary Education

People leader experience

5 years Business Banking experience

Knowledge of deposit rate environment and economic factors

Results driven mindset with passion for delivering exceptional client experience and advice

Nice to have: (Max. 4 bullets)

Masters of Business Administration

Previous experience and licensing in working with investments
