What is the opportunity?
The Manager, Sales Communication and Change Enablement is a high impact role that influences successful outcomes and growth of the Caribbean Banking business. This role enables the execution and sustainable implementation of Sales and Service and Caribbean Banking strategies and initiatives by understanding the information needs of RBC sales and service professionals and developing timely communication to provide context, key messages, process changes and any related actions, and support resources.
What will you do?
- Ensure there is a clear sales communication pipeline from initial engagement to launch and embed and sustain activities of a project or initiative
- Be an advocate for our client and sales force (including Advice Centre) experience, the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales force and of all communication, including improved quality, reduced volume and targeted messaging by role
- Assess stakeholder needs and determine tactics and channels best suited to the topic, location of stakeholder and intended use of the content in the most cost-effective manner
- Apply sales communication target operating model (with prioritization and protocol models) in all stakeholder engagements
- Ensure every initiative is on-boarded with priorities and deliverables scheduled for publication in the Gateway
- Develop Communication, Implementation and Change Management strategies with integrated tactics to support the launch and sustainable implementation of SESC or Partner-led initiatives with an impact on RBC sales professionals and Advice Centre teams
- Complete the Change Management Placemat for medium and high impact initiatives
- Execute sales communication and implementation strategies and champion communications excellence in the appropriate medium to align and streamline practices and deliver best in class results
- Support crisis management communications by working with business partners and other communication specialists across Caribbean Banking
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- University Degree or equivalent education
- 3 to 5 years in a Sales Management role in Caribbean Banking
- Strong organizational skills and business orientation
- Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- High achievement orientation/Self starter
- Ability to operate efficiently within a given framework of deadlines/timetables, prioritizing activities and adjusting normal schedules so that objectives are met.
