Note: This position is available for remote work within the Greater Toronto Region.
What is the opportunity?
As an Equipment Finance Specialist, you will develop new and grow existing equipment finance relationships. You will work with Relationship Managers, Commercial Accounts and other RBC partners to create customized equipment finance solutions and deliver a differentiated client experience. You have, or will build, knowledge of client industries, client equipment acquisition and refresh strategies, as well as key influential networks within the community to drive business growth.
What will you do?
Be a trusted strategic advisor through proactive relationship building and providing sound financial advice to clients
Grow sales and revenue through prospecting/lead generation, sales meetings/discovery sessions, sales planning/reviews, internal/external presentations
Create an exceptional client experience and be accountable when any major client issues and/or escalations arise
Collaborate with partners in Commercial Financial Services sales and service teams to support needs discovery, identify solutions and deliver on client needs
Continue personal and professional development through formal and informal learning
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Proven track record in B2B sales and business development, with strong sales routines and exceptional client relationship management
Strong relationship builder, skilled at building and leveraging internal and external networks to support client acquisition
Experience in Commercial Banking, Equipment Finance or lending
Excellent communication skills, presentation and negotiation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), online communication tools and CRM as a sales management and tracking tool
Ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Region to meet with clients and partners, with a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
Nice-to-have
Experience with credit, financial statement analysis and risk assessment
Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese
