What is the opportunity?
Lead operational, strategic, and delivery disciplines that enable Funding, Liquidity & Payment Services (FLP) to execute with clarity, predictability, and business impact. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, portfolio leadership, and organizational effectiveness ensuring the right initiatives are prioritized, resourced, governed, and delivered to support COO objectives
What will you do?
Portfolio, Program & Delivery Leadership
Lead delivery of global, regional, and functional programs, ensuring business and technical outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and at high quality
Establish, champion, and continuously improve delivery frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes
Oversee a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring visibility, health assessments, risk management, and alignment to strategic priorities
Drive the creation and maintenance of a portfolio view, including demand, resource needs, dependencies, risks, and benefits realization
Resolve conflicts across competing priorities across portfolios and facilitate timely executive decision making
Operational & Financial Management
Manage organizational budgets, forecasts, and financial governance to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment with strategic plans
Ensure program benefits are identified, quantified, monitored, and reported through organizational financial process
Governance, Reporting & Organizational Visibility
Establish reporting standards and ensure clear visibility into portfolio project status and health
Define and maintain reporting standards that provide timely insight into program health, performance, risks, and resource needs
Deliver executive ready communication, narrative framing, and structured analysis to facilitate strategic alignment and informed choice
Change Leadership & Cross Functional Influence
Drive organizational change required to adopt new processes, delivery models, and operating disciplines
Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders
Ensure teams are equipped with the communication, tools, and processes needed to operate with clarity and confidence
Champion continuous improvement and the adoption of industry leading practices
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience with a strong focus on project management/delivery
A proven track record driving change and leading largescale programs or portfolios within a complex, global, matrixed organization
Experience managing budgets, financial processes, and investment governance at scale
Prior experience working in a large, geographically dispersed organization
Strong understanding of organizational dynamics, and enterprise planning
Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across diverse functional areas
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills; able to synthesize complexity into clear action
Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of framing complex issues for multiple audiences
Expertise in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)
Nice to have
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified

The expected salary range for this position is $160,000 - $250,000 USD, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
