Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Join our dynamic Wealth Management team as a trusted partner in shaping the future of our products and services! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring seamless governance processes as we integrate WME offerings into our product risk tool. This is a chance to collaborate closely with product and risk experts, drive efficiency through innovation (including AI solutions!), and contribute to a culture of excellence. We value your unique perspective—if you’re shortlisted and require interview adjustments, just let us know.

Based in our London office (4 days/week minimum), this permanent, full-time position offers a blend of structure and flexibility to thrive.

What will you do?

  • Champion governance with purpose: Guide WME products through their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with risk frameworks and business goals.
  • Be the go-to expert: Support product and risk owners by resolving governance queries and simplifying complex processes—think of yourself as a problem-solver and collaborator.
  • Drive coordination: Lead Q&A sessions, pipeline meetings, and cross-team workflows to keep projects on track and stakeholders informed.
  • Elevate through innovation: Partner with product managers to refine governance practices, leveraging technology (like AI) to boost efficiency.
  • Balance risk and ambition: Review product initiatives with a keen eye for market trends and regulatory compliance, ensuring we deliver value responsibly.
  • Grow with us: Contribute to team projects, take ownership of initiatives, and help shape a governance framework that’s forward-thinking and inclusive.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • Proven experience in product governance and management, with a strong grasp of investment, banking, and credit products.
  • Confident communication skills to build trust with senior leaders and 2LOD stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead projects independently, keeping teams aligned and informed.
  • Deep understanding of Consumer Duty and UK financial regulations.
  • A collaborative mindset—we value teamwork and fresh ideas!

Nice-to-have

  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks (a plus, but not a deal-breaker!).
  • Passion for technology-driven solutions (e.g., AI) to streamline processes.

  • Opportunities to work with the best in the field..
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
