Your role

We’re looking for an experienced Automation Test Manager to:

• identify ways to automate as much of the QA and testing process within AML transaction monitoring stream

• manage multiple testing teams and coordinate with cross-functional teams

• analyze complex systems and identify testing requirements and risks

• design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for various levels of testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)

• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues

• design and execute test cases for ETL workflows, ensuring data integrity and accuracy

• mentor team members in testing methodologies, automation, and DevOps practices

• train new QA staff members in our testing methods and standards

• share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

• understand and work alongside the world class suite of AML products to support end users

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Transaction Monitoring team in Weehawken, NJ focusing on leading and managing the testing activities across the board.

Your expertise

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills across different areas.

ETL Testing:

• strong understanding of ETL processes and concepts
• experience in testing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
• proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying databases
• ability to design and execute test cases for ETL workflows, ensuring data integrity and accuracy

DevOps:

• understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and culture
• proficiency in version control systems such as Git and knowledge of branching strategies
• knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
• understanding of cloud computing platform such as Azure Cloud Platform or similar experience

Test Automation:

• experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites for various levels of testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Java for automation scripting
• ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
• understanding of best practices for test automation, including test data management, maintainability, and scalability

Test Management:

• good experience with Agile process and Scrum framework in Jira or GIT
• strong leadership skills to manage testing teams and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• excellent communication skills to effectively convey testing strategies, plans, and results to stakeholders
• ability to mentor team members in testing methodologies, automation, and DevOps practices
• experience in generating test reports, test metrics, defect metrics
• ability to analyze complex systems and identify testing requirements and risks
• capacity to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines

General:

• experienced and comfortable working with various industry standard testing suites/tools
• proficient in working with SQL, Unix, and Excel
• interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
• strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing
• knowledge of Actimize Transaction Monitoring system (SAM) is a significant plus
• experience with Azure DevOps is a significant plus
