We’re looking for someone like you to help us deliver a challenging program of work, building out our strategic FX Cash & Derivatives pricing, distribution and algorithmic trading architecture.
As a Quant-Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
• Quant-Engineering: development of tooling and key platform components for the core Principal Flow Electronic Trading system.
• Trading Analytics: expand and migrate existing data analytics applications to our strategic cloud-based trading analytics platform.
• Work as part of the Investment Banking Principal Flow Trading front office development team.
• Work with wider quant-development and quant groups to ensure robustness of the technology and models underlying the business.
• Act as an escalation point for support of principal flow electronic trading core platform components, backend and frontend applications.

Your team
You will be working in the Quant-Engineering Centre of Excellent aligned to Principal Flow Trading in London. The work has a very high profile and is recognized as a key part of our business strategy over the next few years.
Your expertise
• Hold a bachelor or master degree or equivalent in software engineering, computer science or similar disciplines that provide a solid background in design and implementation of large scale compute platforms.
• Five years of experience with Azure and aligned technologies (AKS, VMs, Terraform, Gitlab).
• Good understanding of oAuth 2.0 and cryptography.
• Five years of core Java experience (including network programming).
• Five years of strong scripting skills to automate common tasks (Python, bash).
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting mission-critical components in a large-scale production environment.
• Experience with KDB at infrastructure level would be a plus.
• Proactive with initiatives and have an innovative solution-oriented thinking.
