We’re looking for a Director, Business Risk Manager to:

• Support the day to day running of Wealth Management Capital Markets supervisory process.
• Ensure smooth operation of the supervisory toolset by working closely with senior traders and sales people.
• Review, define, and design new supervisory review tools and techniques by working under our agile methodology.
• Work with control functions to improve and align Wealth Management Capital Markets controls where possible to provide a seamless integrated control framework.
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate risks in the Capital Markets Supervisory process, proactively formulating holistic solutions.
• Provide transparent reporting and face off to management, regulators, auditors, and other internal units.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, proactively formulating holistic solutions.
• Provide advice and feedback on supervisory issues raised by regulators, compliance and internal auditors.

Your expertise

• Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Global Sustainability Business Risk Manager, or related occupation.

• Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable)
• The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Global Sustainability Business Risk Manager, or related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience.

• Position requires experience with the following:
• general risk management such as control frameworks and supervision
• internal processes and control frameworks of a major global investment bank
• identifying and assessing risks in the control and supervisory frameworks
• building and implementing sustainable controls or processes to mitigate the risks in the control and supervisory framework
• Operational risk frameworks that investment banks must operate within
• regulatory, audits and compliance testing
• SQL
• Tableau
• Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or teaching experience.
