We’re looking for an Associate Director, Data Governance Officer to:

• Drive implementation of the data management framework across UBS.
• Identify and understand data quality trends.
• Participate in management forums.
• Act as key point of contact for divisional business partners, technology, and data management members.
• Develop service-based key procedural controls and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with the group data management organization to ensure data management is in conformance with group policies and frameworks.
• Develop standards, guidelines, and roadmaps to support effective data risk management.
• Support stakeholders in the active management of issues throughout the delivery process and any data related activities for regulatory requirements (e.g. CCAR).
• Provide input and requirements for tooling and lineage.
• Design and implement a common strategy for enhancing processing and methodology.
• Research upcoming regulatory changes and their effect on data within the region.
• Design and implement a comprehensive Chief Data Officer Service catalogue.

Your expertise

• Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Commerce, Management Information Systems, Finance, or a related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience as a Data Management Supervisor, Senior Data Governance Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, Team Lead, Technical Lead, or a related occupation.

• Position requires experience with:
• U.S. regulatory reporting;
• risk mitigation practices and strategies;
• SQL;
• JIRA;
• data management and best practices;
• financial organization processes;
• project management; and
• stakeholder management.
• Will accept a three (3) or four (4) year Bachelor’s degree.
