We’re looking for a Authorized Officer, Application Support Analyst to:

• Provide day-to-day support and monitoring of over thirty applications used by front, middle, and back office users in the equity derivatives business.
• Follow the ITIL incident and problem management process when an issue arises in the production environment to restore service as quickly as possible and prevent reoccurrence of incidents.
• Implement monitoring and automation initiatives using both vendor tools, such as AppDynamics and Splunk, and custom solutions using Python and Shell scripts.
• Coordinate with different internal teams and/or external parties to conduct and manage special events, including BCP tests, infrastructure change weekends, data center maintenance, special trading days or exchange-mandated market rehearsals.
• Release and deploy new code versions into the production environment.
• Able to address and debug complex technical issues.
• Deliver high quality application services to the investment bank stakeholders.

Detailed salary information:
• New York: the salary range for this role is $123,000 to 135,000.
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your expertise

• Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Technology, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, Senior Systems Engineer, or related occupation.

• Position requires experience with the following:
• AppDynamics
• Splunk
• Python or Perl scripting
• Shell scripting
• Oracle
• Sybase
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) incident and problem management processes
• UNIX or Linux
• implementing monitoring and automation initiatives
• Job scheduler software such as Autosys

Salary information
