As the Insurance and Annuity Specialist you will provide support to advisors across Wealth Management utilizing insured solutions to meet client investment and protection needs. The ability to work across the lines of business and across functions is paramount in delivering our world-class Wealth Management platform. Are you familiar with the annuity industry, and can effectively manage between sales and service support needs of the product?

Your responsibilities would include:

• building new and maintaining existing relationships with advisors and field leaders to increase adoption/sales of insurance and annuity solutions
• conducting calls with financial advisors and clients on insurance and annuity products acting as their specialist
• collaborating with advisors to include insurance and annuities as part of a financial or retirement plan for clients with the ability to educate advisors on delivering insurance solutions
• executing on proactive call campaigns as well as responding to inbound product calls
• giving proactive and reactive advice for advisors and field leaders on insurance and annuity products and structuring
• coordinating, planning, and presenting both internal and external educational events for financial advisors
• maintaining an effective relationship with internal and external insurance company partners to help drive business and increase activity
• developing and maintain, training and educational materials designed to support the insured solutions businesses

This role resides in the Insured Solutions Group, a subset of the Advisory and investment products group within UBS Wealth Management Americas. You will join a team of Annuity specialists, recommending, and advising advisors and field leaders on annuity solutions.

Your expertise

• have a strong annuity experience
• a Bachelor degree
• ideally 5+ years of experience in financial services
• possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences, including financial advisors and potentially clients
• possess excellent relationship building, written and verbal communication skills
• have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment
• a team player, ready to contribute to, learn from, and thoughtfully challenge oneself and others as a member of the Insured Solutions Team
• willing to travel to key markets when necessary (up to 25%)
• FINRA 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required
• Active Life & Health insurance license
