We’re looking for a senior Strategic Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Cyber Intelligence Center and contribute to the production of our team’s strategic analysis portfolio.
The strategic Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for:

• contributing to the production of regular and ad-hoc intelligence reports designed to provide situational awareness of the evolving cyber threat landscape to internal businesses and leadership and monitoring the geopolitical landscape for developments and crisis scenarios that may play out in the cyber space
• performing threat assessments on notable trends that are leveraged to inform and shape the team’s strategic threat mitigation portfolio
• contributing to the development and maintenance of CIC’s threat scenario library, as the golden source for cyber threat scenarios that may impact our firm
• conducting quality control of the team’s outputs and contributing to refining existing products and designing new ones and engaging with other defense and technical teams to provide specialized knowledge and requirements to inform threat mitigation strategies
• contributing to the development and refinement of key processes and procedures concerning the strategic intelligence analysis function and their practical application across our team’s portfolio of activities
• engaging external communities to collect and share threat information, actively contributing to threat intelligence exchange activities

Your team

You’ll be working in UBS’s Cyber Intelligence Center – where you’ll play a key role in protecting the firm from cyber-attacks and advanced threat actors by informing UBS cyber defense teams and raising awareness of key cyber threats across senior CISO and TISO leadership and business leads.
Your role will be based in our Weehawken, NJ location.

Your expertise

• ideally 5+ years of combined experience in cyber threat intelligence, intelligence analysis or security research
• experience writing threat assessments and analytical reports for a business audience and/or leadership
• detailed knowledge and technical understanding of the global cyber threat landscape, and the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by adversaries, especially those related to the financial sector
• knowledge of threat modeling frameworks, such as cyber kill chains or the MITRE ATT&CK™ framework and expertise in mapping procedural intelligence of threats to TTPs
• familiarity with open-source and commercial tools for continuous monitoring of the threat landscape
• strong verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to present reports to both technical and non-technical audiences and experience supervising written production of intelligence reports is highly desirable
• solid management experience and ability to manage conflicts and work effectively under pressure
• certifications such as GSEC, GCTI, GREM, CISSP or OSCP are desirable but not essential
