We’re looking for an Associate Director, Investment Banking Associate to:

• Control and prepare financial models and business valuations.
• Prepare financial LBO models to analyze private and public companies.
• Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors determining the credit quality of client companies and marketing them to investors.
• Analyze different capital structures for client companies and elaborate recommendations on go-to market strategies within different debt structures.
• Make capital structure recommendations to clients management.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of investment memorandums to the Credit Committee.
• Present analysis of companies to internal credit rating committees.
• Participate in the evaluation of other credits within Corporates and other related credit groups.
• Research and analyze clients financial situations, management track record and go-forward strategy, industry and market data, debt financing and merger and acquisitions.
• Conduct industry and product research and comparable companies analysis.
• Assist in the management of accounts by monitoring industry events and through company press releases and monthly/quarterly financials, industry and company research reports.
• Review safeguards to enable early intervention in deteriorating credits and the correlation between early intervention and ultimate recovery rates in distressed credits.
• Communicate rating rationale to external audiences, including institutional investors, sell-side analysts and media, in meetings, conference calls, press releases and written research reports.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and databases.

Detailed salary information:
• New York: the salary range for this role is $225,000 to $230,000.
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as an Investment Banking Associate or related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:
• creating and analyzing financial models
• assessing credit risk
• developing investment memoranda to provide debt capital for leveraged buyout, refinancing, repricing, and dividend recapitalization transactions
• negotiating credit terms
• conducting operation and financial due diligence for internal committees on credit and reputational risk
• assembling leverage views on financing structures
• preparing financial Leveraged Buyout (LBO) models
• advanced accounting
• preparing marketing materials including lender presentations, private supplements, bank books, and rating agency presentations
