As an Associate Director in Cross Asset Financing at UBS, you will play a crucial role in structuring, modeling, and arranging innovative financing products and solutions across various asset classes. Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and programming quantitative models for structured financing products, including evaluating default probabilities, cash flows, covenants across a broad range of asset classes.
• Utilizing strong analytical and quantitative skills to perform risk/reward analysis, loss forecasting and capital estimation of structured financing transactions.
• Preparing transaction proposals through thorough due diligence, quantitative analysis and market research, and presenting to transaction approval committees.
• Executing financing transactions through close collaboration with Sales, Trading, Credit Risk and Legal, ensuring they meet all required standards and regulations.
• Supporting and interacting with internal and external clients as the quantitative analyst on a deal-by-deal basis.
• Actively monitoring existing loans and financing products and updating borrower profiles on at least a quarterly basis.
• Adhering to all applicable regulations and internal policies, including relevant compliance policies.

• Executing financing transactions to support client needs and business objectives.
• Collaborating closely with Sales and Trading colleagues in the Global Markets and the Global Lending Unit to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients.

Your expertise

• At least a master's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or quantitative finance with an excellent academic record.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills in financial modeling, risk analysis, transaction execution, product, and platform development.
• Extensive experience in coding and the programming proficiency to model complex financial products and structures with Python, SAS and R.
• Deep understanding of market/credit risk profile, pricing and capital requirements for structured products.
• Highly resilient and adaptable to changing market conditions and complex financial situations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
