Your role
Have you successfully planned, organized and controlled all test activities? Do you have the know-how for achieving the defined test goals and implementing the testing? Do you want to be our test expert, making sure our application and technical environments meet the requirements?
We’re looking for an IT Quality & Test Engineer to:
• design, build and maintain an automation framework for testing the department's systems globally
• manage, monitor and improve the infrastructure
• develop custom tools and integrate with existing tools to increase engineering productivity
• define the automation book of work, collaborating with our team to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements via test automation
• liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels across bank including international locations
• comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans

Your team
You'll be working across portfolio of applications within the Smart Technologies & Advanced Analytics Team (STAAT) under Wealth Management Americas (WMA) Technology group. These applications are used by several thousand Financial Advisors and Team Administrators across the Wealth Management Americas and include a platform providing online and offline communication tools like emails, panel and scheduling. STAAT leverages AI to better detect client needs from email communication and eventually calls. These then surface relevant, actionable insights and CIO content at the point of interaction and in real-time. STAAT Insights deliver contextually aware, actionable client opportunities and insights where the advisors need them the most.

Your expertise
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
• previously held a testing automation role, for ideally 8+ years within the finance sector
• proven delivery of performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality and accessibility; and non-functional testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and portability
• able to perform regression testing for project, product and PRV (Production Readiness Verification)
• experienced in the full project life-cycle experience in a Quality Assurance & Test capacity
• excellent knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• proven track record of requirements analysis and documentation
• good knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, UFT)
• ability to work under challenging circumstances without sacrificing quality or attention to detail
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• excellent problem-solving skills
• ISTQB/ ISEB Certified (Foundation Level) or equivalent
• knowledge of best practice across the development life cycle and experience of implementing it
• ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within and outside the immediate team
• ability to provide leadership by example to your team by building a reliable and extensible QA approach with a key focus on automated and technical testing
