We’re looking for an experienced in derivatives and structured products someone who can:

Drive revenue growth, primarily for Fixed income, Currencies and Commodities (FiCC) and hybrid structured products in offshore and onshore channels.

Cover financial advisors across the Americas to educate, position in portfolio and increase penetration of FiCC-related structured products, with an initial focus on UBS International and expanding to US distribution channels.
Forge strong relationships with financial advisors, promoting UBS’s industry leading structured notes platform as a platform of choice for their clients.
Broaden and deepen partnerships across product and sales teams within United Global Markets Americas (UGMA) and with Global Wealth Management’s (GWM) sales management on education and marketing efforts for FiCC structured products. Be the conduit between financial advisors and structured solutions sales teams, communicating investment ideas, new products and their feedback to and from the field.
Work closely with structured solutions origination and product development, cross-asset solutions sales and taxable fixed income sales teams, and all related control functions (legal, compliance, tax, operations etc)
Provide sales coverage and after sales support to financial advisors.
Follow all regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, procedures and guidelines

Your team

You’ll be working in the Structured Solutions Distribution team within Unified Global Markets Americas (UGMA) division, focused on clients doing business with UBS entities in the United States. The role is ideally based in New York City with potential for being located in Miami. In this role you will cover GWM financial advisors, marketing primarily FiCC and hybrid structured solutions and gradually expanding coverage into equity-linked products. You will support financial advisors by providing front-to-back lifecycle education and marketing of the structured products platform in coordination with the group’s product development and origination teams, as well as be a conduit for other UGM Americas solutions businesses. This entails a full understanding of all details pertaining to the structured product and UGM Americas platforms, particularly credit linked notes, bond repacks, dual-currency notes, reverse convertibles and hybrid payoff structures, associated with in-house research and alignment with GWM CIO’s portfolio positioning, booking systems, client eligibility requirements and risk considerations.

Your expertise

• bachelor’s degree focused on quantitative disciplines such as economics, engineering or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus.
• ideally 10 to 15 years' experience in a structured products and derivatives function, with strong working knowledge of interest rates, credit, currencies and commodities markets and markets. Knowledge of equity-linked structured products is a plus.
• exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Bloomberg terminal
• familiarity with structured products and derivatives pricing models (foreign exchange and interest rate options, credit derivatives etc) and related tools or applications.
• spanish language skills highly desirable, Portuguese a plus.
