We’re looking for a Machine Learning Product Developer to:
• Develop, deploy, and maintain practical solutions for commercial client products.
• Productionize machine learning solutions in combination with knowledge of UBS products, processes, systems, people, and corresponding data flows.
• Interact with clients and technology stakeholders.
• Prioritize opportunities with operational headwinds. Validate model outputs.
• Support execution together with business.

Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement
• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in life sciences, or a related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience as a Product Developer, Master Thesis Intern, Engineering Intern, or a related occupation.
Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable)
• The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in life sciences, or a related field of study and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as a Product Developer, Master Thesis Intern, Engineering Intern, or a related occupation in lieu of Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
Position requires experience with the following:
• financial markets and banking products, including their applications and industry practices; advanced model development and machine learning, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance models and algorithms using Python; advanced programming in Python;
• design of web applications using Django;
• software engineering practices, including system architecture, scalable code design, and performance optimization; programming in production environments, including CI/CD pipelines;
• Postgresql; Pyspark and Databricks; configuration of UNIX servers using RHEL7. Can work remotely.
