We’re looking for a Associate Director, Research Analyst to:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative credit analyses of issuers of leveraged loans and high yield bonds.
• Drive Credit Committee discussions on credit deals in the market through credit pitches.
• Monitor current portfolio holdings in the Healthcare and Education sectors to ensure expected performance.
• Coordinate discussions with portfolio company management teams. Lead discussions and negotiations on deal pricing and allocations with sales counterparts at various sell-side institutions.
• Participate in Leveraged Loan conferences to meet with management teams, sales teams, and peers.
• Lead negotiations on restructuring activities within the portfolio, including legal document analysis. Review work prepared by Junior Credit Analysts.

Your expertise

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst, Quantitative Analyst, or a related field of study.

Position requires experience with the following:

• Financial modeling and accounting, Credit Analysis, Financial legal document analysis,
• Fixed income markets for non-investment grade products, Bloomberg, Buyside investing in leveraged loans and high yield bonds
• Life Sciences Sector, Healthcare Technology Sector, Healthcare Services Sector, Pharmaceutical Sector. Healthcare Provider Sector, Medical Devices Sector, Education Sector,
• Leveraging sector expertise and network of relationships to analyze primary and secondary investment opportunities
• Making investment recommendations to investment committees
• FINRA licenses 7TO and Series 63. Can work remotely.
