UBS Asset Management (Americas) LLC is seeking a Director, Research Analyst in New York, NY.

We’re looking for a Director, Research Analyst to:
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative credit analyses of issuers of Leveraged Loans and High Yield Bonds Financial Services sector. Drive Credit Committee discussions on credit deals in the market through credit pitches.
• Monitor current portfolio holdings in the Financial Services sector to ensure they perform as expected. Coordinate discussions with portfolio company management teams.
• Steer discussions and negotiations on deal pricing and allocations with sales counterparts at various sell-side institutions. Participate in Leveraged Loan conferences to meet with management teams, sales teams, and peers in the space.
• Drive negotiations on restructuring activities within the portfolio, including legal document analysis. Discuss coverage in client meetings and industry events to showcase the team’s Analyst skillset.
• Apply knowledge of financial modeling and accounting, credit analysis, financial legal document analysis, and fixed income markets (non-investment grade products). Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Credit Analyst, or related occupation.
Position requires experience with the following:
• credit analysis, financial legal document analysis, fixed income markets
• financial modeling and accounting, buyside investing in leveraged loans and high yield bonds, deep sector strategy within the financial services sector
• leveraging sector expertise and network of relationships to analyze primary and secondary opportunities in the financial services sector
• making investment recommendations to investment committees, asset management platforms
• broker dealers and registered investment advisory platforms, payment processors/facilitators, electronic market makers and execution services, non-investment grade loans and bonds.

Salary information
US Only: The expected salary range for this role is $170,000 to $225,000 based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Please see «Your role» section for detailed salary information.
