We’re looking for a Front End Engineer – Talent and Recruiting Tech to:
• design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our internal clients and employees
• apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• build observability into our solutions to monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• continuously up-skill, learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

• New York: the salary range for this role is $140000 to $180000

Your team
You’ll be working in an agile and autonomous team in the Chief Digital and Information Office (CDIO) HR team in New York, NY. You will be a member of Group HR Technology within the Group Operations & Technology Office (GOTO), which is simplifying and digitizing our HR application landscape along our technology strategy. Together with your colleagues you will be focusing on providing and building Human Resources-related solutions to provide the best candidate & employee experience throughout the whole lifecycle. We are a global organization that values diversity, collaboration, engineering & digital culture, and innovation. Your expertise
• ideally 5+ years of experience with React JS, demonstrating the ability to build interactive web applications and a good understanding of its core principles
• proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, and HTML with the ability to develop responsive and mobile-first user interfaces
• experience with frontend testing frameworks such as React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright with experience writing and maintaining tests to ensure application quality
• understanding of state management in React applications with experience using React Context or Redux for data management
• ability to collaborate with UX designers and translate design mockups into functional user interfaces, ensuring that the implemented interfaces match the design specifications
• exposure to Next.js with an understanding of its benefits for SEO and performance
• a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
