UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Transaction Monitoring in Nashville, TN.

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Transaction Monitoring to:
• Ensure sound risk coverage, adequate quantitative model assessment and validation, and data quality completeness and integrity.
• Conduct development and implementation of risk-based, effective and efficient rules. Carry out AML model development and optimization across multiple lines of business (including correspondent banking, private and investment banking) and multiple Transaction Monitoring System.
• Define requirements and criteria for success and tracking. Engage risk and audit partners to ensure ongoing review and transparency.
• Define relevant methodology and approach in a clear and concise manner to support the model optimization efforts and maintain standards. Review rules on a regular basis based on the level of risk and optimize.
• Track and report tuning and optimization activities and model performance to AML coverage areas, senior management and regulators. Support all review and audit functions.
• Create a model inventory list and ensure all models are reviewed. Provide appropriate training and continually assess current and emerging high-risk transactional activities via the utilization of innovative analytical methodologies.
Detailed salary information:
• Nashville: the salary range for this role is $116,000 Per Year, 40 hrs/wk.
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your expertise
• This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Information Systems Technology, Programming, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Financial Quantitative Analyst, Senior Software Engineer, Application Development Analyst, or a related occupation.
• The employer will alternatively accept a Doctorate degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Information Systems Technology, Programming, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as a Financial Quantitative Analyst, Senior Software Engineer, Application Development Analyst, or a related occupation.
• This Position requires experience with the following:
• SQL Developer 17.4, Oracle 12C, VBA, Database Reporting
• Data analytics using SAS and R, Data Mining, Statistical Analysis, AML Transaction Monitoring Systems including Actimize and Mantas, AML compliance
• SQL Server Management Studio 12, JIRA, Micro Strategy Reporting Tool
• AML methodologies including segmentation methodology, scenario tuning methodology, peer grouping, and sampling (below the Line) methodology
• Can work remotely
