We’re looking for a motivated Product Manager to:

• Support the transformation of our alerts and notifications strategy for UBS WM US clients and advisors
• Assist with strategic product planning and roadmap management
• Build out and maintain the product backlog by writing epics and user stories
• Participate in daily agile ceremonies, acting as a liaison between business and tech to problem solve
• Take part in cross-functional requirements gathering and documentation of technical details
• Participate in release management efforts within the team, and coordinate release details with the broader program/organization
• Be the voice of the client within an agile scrum team
• Maintain awareness of advancements and trends in the client digital landscape
• Solicit feedback to continuously enhance the experience and drive usage of our digital capabilities


In addition to your Product Manager responsibilities within the agile scrum team, we are looking for your product management expertise to:

• Assess and understand the market and competitive landscape
• Understand the end-to-end client journey and how your product solves pain points along that journey
• Ensure clients have a high-quality product experience by performing user acceptance testing (UAT), managing defects, and facilitating timely resolution of production issues
• Uncover areas of opportunity and lead discovery initiatives to validate the business need
• Identify research opportunities to gain insight into client and advisor needs within our space
• Develop launch plans and collaborate with stakeholders on communications, marketing, and training
• Coordinate reviews and approvals with legal, risk, compliance, and other control functions

Your team

You’ll be working on the Alerts and Notifications team in Weehawken, NJ, and will be part of a team comprised of internal and vendor resources across different locations.

The team is part of the Client Self-Service and Enablement Team that is responsible for fostering client digital engagement and providing better self-service tools for our clients. We work in an agile environment, and as a Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Product Owner to identify and accomplish business objectives through partnership with internal stakeholders.

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Ideally 5+ years of Wealth Management experience
• Strong understanding of back-end technology development and implementation
• Experience in digital product management, working on agile scrum teams as a product manager or product owner
• Proven success delivering complex, digital products within the financial services industry
• Translation of client needs into technology-driven solutions
• Highly motivated independent thinker with a strong work ethic
• Ability to effectively communicate in both business and technical contexts
• Ability to manage ambiguity and bring focus with recommendations on solving tactical and strategic challenges
• Strong analytical and issue-resolution skills
• Strong interpersonal skills – freely develops networks, builds consensus, and prioritizes effectively
