Your role
Are you skilled in operating in a dynamic environment at the center of a large multiyear banking modernization program? Are you able to work hand in hand with both business owner and product owner to drive a concept to reality? Do you have the proven ability to coordinate across technology and control functions to ensure timely delivery of materials. Do you have a track record of finding solutions to complex problems? Are you well organized and able to manage multiple deliveries?
We’re looking for a Senior Project manager to:
• Be a conduit between Business, Product and Technology – conveying business priorities to relevant Crews (building the associated products) to ensure common understanding of needs, priorities, and dependencies across product teams to ensure a cohesive, valuable product for the business
• Monitoring the delivery of products independently, and facilitating discussion between business and Crews on timelines and prioritization with an understanding of complex facilitation and dependency management techniques (cross team, cross department)
• Continuously improve the initiative management framework by utilizing a combination of UBS standard tools and initiative-specific reporting and analysis through Microsoft Power Apps
• Integrate AI technologies to optimize processes, improve decision-making, and drive innovation within the project.
• Drive cross team and departmental impediments, planning, collaboration, and coordination
• Work across stakeholders and teams to continuously improve
• Understand domain architecture and upstream/downstream dependencies
• Provide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments
• Provide status reports of various projects to management
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage projects in all respects viz. Cost, resources & timelines
• Cooperate with key stakeholders and ability to work across organizational boundaries
Detailed salary information:
• Weehawken: the salary range for this role is $135000 to $175000
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team
You’ll be working in the Banking Platforms Initiative office. You will be part of a team comprised of internal and vendor resources within the Global Wealth Management – Bank USA function driving the program management of a key banking modernization project.
Your expertise
• 5+ years large/complex program software delivery/program management covering all aspect of SDLC
• 5+ years’ experience in managing complex software programs and services as a program manager, release train engineer or similar technical role in a software development environment
• Outstanding collaboration skills, prior experience working in a matrix and geographically distributed organization
• Highly organized and execution focused, accountable and driven
• Proven track record of shipping high quality products on-time
• Technical knowledge with a desired emphasis on current industry trends including cloud-based development and Agile development techniques
