Your role

Are you an expert in assessing enterprise value and sector trends? You have Secondary Private Equity experience and would like to join an exciting and expanding platform?

We’re looking for a Co-Investment and Secondary Associate to:
• conduct diligence and deal selection of Co-investments, GP and LP led secondary Private Equity opportunities
• ability to lead deal investment processes, including material production & presentation, junior guidance and training
• build and use financial models, third party reports, to evaluate historical information and generate projections
• convert industry insights into comprehensive investment recommendations and risk assessments
• drive production of IC memorandums and recommendations of investment to the committee
• remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies
• support portfolio monitoring, reporting and fundraising efforts

Your team

You’ll be working in the Private Equity, PE Co-Investments & Secondaries team in London within Unified Global Alternatives (UGA). We are responsible for sourcing, selection & diligence of direct investment opportunities for our dedicated funds and pools of capital. You’ll play an important role in the origination, review / selection of investments and the monitoring of our portfolio companies. This is an exciting, dynamic and growing team with direct access to best-in-class managers in the industry.

Your expertise

• 6 years+ of experience with at least 3 years+ in a Private Equity secondary investment role
• bachelor’s/master’s degree, ideally with a post-graduate qualification but not mandatory
• thinker, self-starter, with a keen focus on the details
• adept at articulating analytical views on and off paper, in a concise and confident manner
• proficient MS Office skills including Excel, PPT, and LBO modelling proficiency
• collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently
• fluency in a second language will be an asset.
