Your role

• Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
o Work closely with leadership to understand the global AI & data strategy to define clear business, functional requirements & data requirements & support technical requirements for complex data products.
o Analyze large scale complex data sets to identify insights and opportunities to scale data solutions across the organization
o Design complex semantic layers or reporting views to ensure data consistency and accuracy for end user reporting,
• Product Ownership:
o Define & deliver the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data Products to accelerate AI products, AI Agentic Products and prepare the delivery roadmap and prioritization for how to build scalably.
• Front-to-Back Delivery:
o Oversee the entire data product lifecycle, from data ingestion and transformation to reporting and visualization.
o Ensure seamless integration of data products across the firm
• Data Literacy & Change Management:
o Promote data literacy and data-driven decision making within the organization. Provide training and support to users on how to leverage data products effectively.
• Stakeholder Management & collaboration:
o Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including executives, business users, data engineers, data scientists and technology teams.
• Agile Delivery & Data Governance:
o Operate & collaborate in an Agile manner deliver data products in an iterative and incremental manner. Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery.
o Work with data governance teams to understand and establish and enforce data standards and policies.

Your team

The STAAT Analytics Product Management team is working across the Data & Foundational Platforms stream to implement scalable data products to accelerate WMA’s global AI Strategy. You will be part of the strategic effort to collate data across WMA to influence data solutions for our Financial Advisors, support professionals, and clients. You’ll be joining the Analytics, Reporting & BI Crew in Weehawken, NJ.

Your expertise

• Ideally 8+ years of experience leading data warehouse & BI projects
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL, semantic & reporting capabilities, and overall, AI delivery models (GenAI, LLM, Machine Learning).
• Significant expertise and delivery of all types of requirements as part of front to back delivery of data or and AI solutions: (business requirements, functional requirements, data requirements & technical implementation requirements)
• Experience in Business process re-engineering using automated solutions
• Superior communication & leadership skills and demonstrated ability to build collaborate and work with various across different levels of the organization
• Excellent critical thinking skills for data analysis, exploratory data analysis of structured and unstructured large data
• Technical Skills:
o Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.
o Proficiency in SQL, Python, R and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
o Experience in designing complex semantic layers and data marts.
o Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin Data Modeler, ER/Studio)
o Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
o Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
o Comprehend AI Delivery Models (NLP, Machine Learning Models, Model Evaluation)
