Your role
Are you highly proficient at identifying, assessing, and effectively mitigating risks? Are you skilled at evaluating issues and taking optimal risk mitigation and remediation steps? Are you detailed oriented and a self-starter with strong project management and data analysis experience?
• Obtain a thorough understanding of various aspects of the platforms and product teams and their respective initiatives to advise on operational risk and control environment
• Identify areas of concerns and control gaps, determine the root cause of issues and ensure they are clearly understood by the stakeholders; working with them to develop and implement appropriate corrective action plans
• Manage and triage platform and system issues to ensure key risk issues are understood, action plans are documented, and impacts are sized appropriately, reported and communicated to stakeholders
• Assist in drafting and finalizing language for controls and issues; ensure they are documented in the Firm’s issue and control repository in a timely manner
• Manage various issues and action plans through to completion, ensuring engagement and accountability of stakeholders, as well as engagement with 1st and 2nd line partners regarding status and progress
• Collaborate with platform and crew leads regarding incidents and events; document a formal escalation to Senior Management
• Analyze and evaluate relevant risk data, ensure proactive risk management, reporting and governance
• Develop meaningful key risk indicators and metrics and reporting to assess and present informative data to Senior Management with a focus on creating top of the house metrics highlighting key issues and trends requiring Management attention
• Manage projects as needed and as assigned; candidate must be able to work in an environment with evolving priorities, making sound decisions about prioritization and escalating issues that require attention

This is an individual contributor role, reporting into the Head of US Digital Risk. The position is based in Weehawken, NJ or in Nashville, TN (on-site hybrid role 3-4 days a week in the office) reporting up to the US Global Wealth Management COO Organization
Your expertise
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
• Ideally 3 years’ experience in Operational and/or Business Risk Management with a focus in the financial services industry
• Very strong analytical and problem solving skills (critical thinking ability)
• Must possess strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills - exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate to senior management
• Demonstrated ability to take complex information/data and summarize or story tell on a one pager PowerPoint – a must
• Must be detail oriented and accurate
• Highly analytical with experience in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing information on various subjects
• Able to grasp complex and new topics quickly, prioritize, problem solve, synthesize information and issues, findings and propose tactical and longer term solutions
• Must be able to work appropriately with stakeholders at all levels and at times, in tight deadlines
• Ability to manage numerous reviews and confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Strong organizational skills – understanding of what it takes to run successful projects from beginning to end
• Strong Proficiency MS Excel, and PowerPoint
• Prior Wealth Management experience preferred
