Your role
As the Head of Advisory Business Governance, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for a broad range of strategic and tactical initiatives across the Advisory Solutions business. The role offers exposure to key areas such as product development, governance, risk management, and program oversight. You will drive platform enhancements in close collaboration with control partners and ensure alignment across the Advisory platform.
Responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:
• Lead projects and related activities for the Advisory Solutions business using a risk managed approach, while responding to an evolving regulatory environment.
• Develop and implement solutions to address risks in the Advisory Solutions business.
• Partner with control functions to ensure alignment on regulatory matters and serve as Lead for the Advisory business for new or changing regulations.
• Oversee the team that is responsible for ADV 1A, 2A, 2B, and client agreement updates, as well as other cross-business functions, such as business continuity planning and market access requests.
• Serve in a key management role, working directly with the Head of the Advisory Solutions business on reporting, strategic projects, and data analysis.
• Oversee the systems and content for managed account surveillance, program guidelines, and annual Advisory reviews.
• Manage the process for monitoring SMA strategy performance across the platform, working with the Investment Manager Analysis team and SMA Managers.
• Serve as Secretary for the Advisory Solutions Governance Committee.

This role is for someone who enjoys the challenges of a fast-paced dynamic business and is seeking an experience that combines long-term project management with day-to-day deliverables. The Head of Advisory Governance will be able to think strategically and creatively and will be a contributing member of the team from day one.
Your expertise
• Excellent communication skills, with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, and the ability to succinctly convey information to senior leadership and other stakeholders
• Proven problem solver with the ability to work autonomously, or as part of a larger team
• Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain required licenses within an agreed timeframe
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple initiatives at one time and re-prioritize daily
• Experience in managing a multi-person team, both in office as well as remote.
• ideally 10+ years in Wealth Management / Financial services; Advisory experience preferred and/or knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: Investment Platforms, Advisory, Risk Management, Governance, Advisory Operations.
