Your role

We’re looking for an Administrative Manager to:

Administrative Management
•Guide the Branch in implementing strategic initiatives by fostering behavioral change through coaching, with an emphasis on consistency, quality, and adherence to Firm policies and procedures.
•Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of Service and Support Professionals.
•Encourage cross-functional training, continuous learning, professional development, and recognition within the Complex.
•Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members, including Financial Advisors and their support staff.
•Collaborate with Market Administrative Officer and Human Resources on all aspects of personnel management, including performance evaluations, coaching, and conflict resolution.
•Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the Branch, Market, Region, and Home Office, actively participating in team meetings and calls at regional and national levels.
•Conduct regular one-on-one sessions with Support Professionals to provide coaching, discuss career aspirations, review job responsibilities, explore Firm opportunities, and strengthen team dynamics. Also meet with Advisor teams to address service-related needs.
•Coordinate Support Professional coverage for Financial Advisors within the Branch.
•Identify and promote recognition opportunities by sharing best practices, success stories, and accomplishments across the Market.
•Foster a branch culture aligned with the Firm’s core values, with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Operations
•Manage travel and entertainment expenses for Advisors and oversee Firm programs related to budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with Firm policies.
•Address and resolve client inquiries and service requests.
•Participate in national calls to stay informed on platform updates, policy changes, best practices, and other relevant developments.
•Evaluate and implement process enhancements to improve team productivity and operational efficiency.
•Take on additional operational responsibilities as needed.
•Carry out other duties as assigned by the Market Administrative Officer

Your team

You’ll be working as part of the UBS South Market located in Chattanooga, TN or Knoxville, TN. We help high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families meet their financial goals through financial advisors who deliver products and services specifically designed for them. You’ll be a member of the Market Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Market Administrative Office and working closely with the Market Directors. You'll manage a group of support staff across your branches, acting as a coach on all aspects of the role.

Your expertise

• Series 7, 66 and 9/10 required
• Ideally 3-5 years of experience with a leading financial institution
• Management experience as administrative manager or other substantive leadership role
• Motivated, self-directed and driven
• Comfortable working in partnership
• Skilled at creating a positive business culture (you have the human touch)
