Your role

We’re looking for an Audit or Risk Expert to:
• plan and execute audits, conduct issue assurance and risk assessment reviews
• highlight where controls are functioning well or where UBS needs to act to better manage current and emerging risks, and escalate any significant concerns appropriately
• where relevant, develop issues and audit reports according to our internal standards that are fully supported by the work done
• Proactively and successfully collaborate with peers in and across audit teams
• build and maintain constructive relationships with colleagues and relevant stakeholders at all levels including senior management

• New York: the salary range for this role is $100000 to $138000
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team
In our agile operating model, audit crews are aligned to business and functional areas, products and services. You’ll be working in the Global Banking Audit team within the Investment Bank Audit Stream in New York focusing on auditing businesses such as Leveraged Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions, Commercial Real Estate Finance, Debt and Equity Capital Markets.
Your expertise
• bachelor or master degree or equivalent focusing on finance, business administration or accounting / auditing
• at least 4 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets or sales and trading activities within the finance sector, preferably in internal or external auditing.
• strong analytical skills and quantitative approach to problem solving
• able to quickly understand complex processes and challenge the status quo, identifying risks and inadequacies in processes
• willingness to keep up with industry, regulatory developments and learn new concepts and methods
• ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders
• ideally has familiarity with data analytics tools
